We created Be Kind Day because we ought to do something nice for people every day. This day is dedicated to doing something nice for people we do not know. Meaning we do something nice for someone in ANY economic class: the Business owner, the actor, police man, or the homeless man. We all can do something nice for each other. Our hope in creating this day to have individual lives touched in a positive way. Who knows you might make a freind.
I know there are a lot of people who do something nice for others, and we should be doing that. I have been guilty being busy and have not looked around me. Sometimes I do not ask myself, “how can I do something nice for the person around me whom I do not know.”
“Be Kind Day” is created to remind us all, and encourage us all to do something nice for another individual, and this day is dedicated to doing that.
The First International be Kind Day is March 5th 2010.
Here are some ideas on what you can do something nice for another person.
- Buy a person a cup of coffe
- Buy a person lunch or dinner
- Write a note to someone
- Do something nice for your mail carrier
- Something nice for your trash man
- Bring a stand
- Give praise to someone
- Say Thank you
- Complement Someone
- Give a hug to someone who might just really need it today.
- Thank someone for something small that helped you allot-they never know how much it helped you until you tell them.
- Make something and send it to an organization.
- Send something to troops.
